You will design, execute, and improve recipes. You are tasked with preforming quality control on ingredients and finished products. It is your responsibility to support the head baker in their tasks and follow their direction. You will clean workstations and equipment after use. You will also preform other duties to ensure that customers needs are met and that the bakery is well-stocked and operating smoothly. You will be efficient and friendly with a focus on food quality and customer satisfaction. You should be organized, decisive, attentive, and posses a strong understanding of baking techniques.
Your main duty will to support the Head Baker. This includes folding,
shaping, cutting, baking, and an understanding the bread making process. Our bread is the main feature at our bakery and requires a high level of attention and passion.
The position is an early morning shift starting at 4am and ending at 9am on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to…
· Folding doughs
· Cleaning dishes after use
· Shaping and cutting dough
· Starter/soaker prep for next day
· Croissant, pies, & other baked positive help
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
