Crave Cupcakes Hillhurst is looking for a part-time, reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate Prep Baker to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep the bakery running smoothly and takes pride in preparing high-quality baked goods from scratch. Must have daytime FALL availability.

Your Roles and Responsibilities will include:

· Prepare ingredients, batters, fillings, icings, and other bakery components according to recipes and production schedules.

· Produce bakery items while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards.

· Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and portion ingredients, doughs, batters, fillings, and other bakery/cafe items according to recipes and production schedules.

· Assist with baking, decorating, and finishing products as needed.

· Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.

· Follow daily production plans and support the team in meeting production needs.

· Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

· Properly label, rotate,



and store ingredients and finished products.

· Assist with receiving, stocking, and organising ingredients and supplies.

· Support other bakery team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

· Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment.

We are looking for someone who:

· Previous baking, food production, work with yeasted doughs or kitchen experience is considered an asset.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 kg.

· Able to follow recipes and procedures accurately.

· Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Possible shifts times of Mon-Weds or Weds-Fri 11-5pm
