Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Nursing Services Aide to join our team at World Pharmacy. This role involves significant travel across various locations, working in clients’ homes, physicians’ offices, hospitals, medical clinics, and industrial pharmacies. The successful candidate must be prepared for frequent or constant travel, work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and extensive walking.

This is not a standard clinic-based position — travel and on-call duties are mandatory.

Requirements (All Mandatory)

- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate/diploma (program of 1–2 years)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years or more of relevant experience required
- Certificates & Credentials:
- First Aid Certificate
- Nursing Aide Certificate
- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Languages: English (fluent). Persian is an asset.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid criminal record check
- Own transportation (vehicle required due to extensive travel)
- Ability to work under pressure and in various settings
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, organization, and patience

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment
- Perform maintenance and repair of medical equipment
- Take patients’ blood pressure,



temperature, and pulse
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments
- Supervise patients’ exercise routines
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Administer first aid in emergency situations
- Prepare and log samples for testing, collect specimens, and perform laboratory tests
- Test operating controls and equipment
- Analyze test results and instrument readings
- Provide patient care and comfort duties

Note: This position requires frequent travel between multiple sites. Candidates must be physically capable of repetitive tasks and significant walking.
