If you have an interest in heavy equipment and have experience with ground maintenance, shipping/receiving, and organizing stock, then this is the perfect job for you! We are looking for a Yards Helper for our Surrey Service location.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs general clean up of the Falcon head office yard including:
- Sweeping
- Disposing of garbage and recycle bins
- Removing snow, ice, and debris
- Removing weeds
- Assisting Shipper/Receiver as required
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Class 1, 2 or 3 is a definite asset
- Valid Driver's License and a clean abstract required
- Forklift certification an asset
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Positive organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
