Sr. Technical Program Manager, Prime Video Ads

We’re building the future of advertising — yes, it’s challenging, but it’s also a lot of fun.We're seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to manage programs spanning innovative advertising formats, Ad measurement and Ad privacy on Prime Video.As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You’ll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the technical vision for Prime Video Advertising across multiple organizations and domains. Program Leadership & Strategy
Drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs spanning multiple teams and organizationsDefine program vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and technical requirementsOwn program-level decision-making, trade-offs, and prioritization across competing demandsPlanning & Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner with engineering, product, design, operations, and business teams to align on goals and deliverablesBuild strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels,
including senior leadershipDevelop comprehensive program plans including scope, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and success metricsTrack program health through metrics, dashboards, and regular status reportingTechnical Acumen
Understand system architecture, technical dependencies, and integration points across servicesEvaluate technical proposals and design documents for feasibility, scalability, and alignment with program goalsPartner with engineering leaders to make informed technical trade-off decisionsStakeholder Management
Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to executive leadership and key stakeholdersManage expectations and negotiate scope, timelines, and resources with stakeholdersPresent program updates, business cases, and recommendations to leadership forumsDelivery & Impact
Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of program milestones and launchesDefine and track success metrics;
measure business impactand customer outcomesOwn post-launch analysis and iteration based on customer feedback and metricsProcess & Operational Excellence
Establish and optimize program management processes, tools, and best practicesDrive continuous improvement in team velocity, quality, and delivery predictabilityLead retrospectives and implement learnings across programsMentor junior TPMs and contribute to the broader TPM communityBasic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience3+ years of software development experience5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experienceExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience building and evaluating system-level technical designExperience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmapsPreferred Qualifications

As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
