The Shipper/Receiver Helper is responsible for helping the main shipper for well-organized, timely and productive preparation and handling movement of incoming and outgoing and materials in and out of City Bread.

Personal Characteristics

- Must be able to skillfully drive and maneuver Reach Truck / fork lift in tight areas
- Must able to stand working in freezer condition for a lengthy period of time.
- Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly
- Possesses good organizational skills
- Has a courteous helpful attitude and can work well with others
- Can multi-task and prioritize

Job Duties

- Required to skillfully operate reach truck, forklift, pallet jack and related storage room machinery
- Prepare shipping documents
- Assemble boxes, trays and pallet, pack goods to be shipped, and attach packing slips
- Direct delivery trucks and help drivers unload goods
- Inspect and count items that are received,



ensuring accuracy
- Record shipped and received goods in logbooks
- Unpack received goods into appropriate storage areas
- Trace lost shipments as needed
- Fill out forms for damaged and returned items and route them correctly
- Maintain secure working conditions and keep storage room and related areas clean
- Maintain cleanliness of storage and freezer areas
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Fluent in English
- Fork Lift/reach truck and power jack license is an asset.

Work Conditions

- Mostly indoors in freezer, and storage room; some outdoor work required for unloading shipments
- Will be required to work on feet for long periods of time
- Fast paced work environment, overtime may be required during busy seasons

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
