Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team part-time, 8-10 hours a week (evening). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various massage techniques and be committed to providing exceptional care to clients. Adica Wellness also offers psychotherapy, so trauma informed work is a bonus. We promote cross-referral between services such as naturopathy, psychotherapy, and reflexology.

Adica Wellness offers full administrative support, but clinicians are expected to understand the basics of billing and booking at the clinic for times when admin is out of office - this will be taught at time of employment.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and medical history to develop tailored massage therapy plans.
- Perform various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, while ensuring client comfort and safety.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients about their conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace,



adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns or questions.
- Document client sessions accurately in accordance with company policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually enhance skills.

Requirements

- Valid CMTNB license or intention to hold one before beginning work.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed (negotiated at time of interview).
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $50.00-$115.00 per hour
