Position: Delivery Driver / Machine Shop Helper

Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Full time – 40 Hours Per Week

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable and mature Delivery Driver / Machine Shop Helper to join their team. This full-time position offers a combination of local driving and hands-on machine shop work. Approximately 20–30 hours per week will be spent making local pickups and deliveries throughout the Mississauga and Etobicoke areas using a company pickup truck, while the remaining time will be spent assisting Machinists and CNC Operators within the shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machine shop experience who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and being part of a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate a company pickup truck to complete local deliveries and pickups of materials, tooling, parts, and supplies.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Load and unload materials and products as required.
- Assist Machinists and CNC Operators with daily production activities.




- Prepare materials for machining and production processes.
- Perform general machine shop duties including material handling, deburring, assembly assistance, shop organization, and cleanup.
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials and inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and workplace policies.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s Licence.
- Clean driving abstract and safe driving record.
- Previous machine shop, machining, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial experience required.
- Experience assisting Machinists, CNC Operators, or working around machining equipment is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Reliable, responsible, and mature with a strong work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Experience:

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence - G (required)
