We are seeking a skilled Crane Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of Palfinger cranes, hooklifts, liftgates, and other truck-mounted equipment. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in hydraulics, mechanical systems, and vehicle upfitting. We offer competitive hourly wage ($30-40 per hour)

Key Responsibilities

- Install and assemble Palfinger cranes, hooklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment onto truck chassis
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct functional testing and quality checks post-installation
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all company safety standards
- Accurately document work performed and report any issues or deviations
- Self-Motivated

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification or trade training in hydraulics, heavy equipment, or mechanics is a solid asset
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Comfortable using power tools, torque wrenches, and lifting equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team





· Hydraulic and electrical experience and knowledge is a positive asset

Preferred Experience

- Installation or service experience with Palfinger, Hiab, or similar truck-mounted cranes
- Mechanically inclined with basic Tools
- heavy-duty equipment mechanic, hydraulic mechanic, automotive mechanic, crane mechanic, elevator mechanic, hydraulic technician or millwright

Work Environment

- Primarily in a shop/production facility with occasional outdoor work
- Exposure to mechanical noise, heavy equipment, and tools
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required at all times
