Job Description
Our guides will be trained to drive our safari tour buses, boats and train, while giving informative tours at the same time. Candidates must like working with people as there is daily interaction with our visitors. This department is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all the above vehicles. Candidates should also like to work in various weather conditions. Must have valid driver’s license.
We are currently looking for 35-40 individuals to fill these positions. Training for these positions begins on weekends in late March and those hired must be available for 40+ hours of training.
All tour staff will be required to pass African Lion Safari’s internal boat training program, as well as obtain and hold a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC).
Qualifications
Must have valid driver’s license
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to handle visitor inquiries and complaints
Energetic, friendly, outgoing, team player and be able to work independently
Minimum of 18 years of age
Must obtain Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)
