Therapist / Massage Therapist (Full-Time)

【Responsibilities】
・Provide massage, facial, body, and spa treatments following Umi training and standards
・Deliver an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure
・Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, linens, and supplies
・Maintain a clean, organized, quiet, and welcoming environment
・Recommend treatments and enhancements that best support each guest’s needs
・Assist with reception duties, scheduling, and guest communication when required
・Work collaboratively within a respectful, positive, and supportive team environment
・Continue developing treatment skills and the Umi guest experience through ongoing training

【Qualifications】
・Minimum three years of professional spa or massage experience preferred
・Experience with facial and body treatments is an asset




・Basic knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics is preferred
・Comfortable communicating in English
・Japanese language is an asset but not required
・Legally entitled to work in Canada
・Physically able to perform massage and spa treatments throughout scheduled shifts
・Professional, dependable, respectful, and committed to exceptional guest care

【Position Details】
・Permanent full-time position
・Weekend availability required
・Shift-based schedule ( Business Hours: 10:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
・Immediate start available
・Located on West Broadway, Vancouver

【Compensation & Benefits】
・Starting wage from $23.00/hour, based on experience
・ Prospect for a wage increase following successful completion of a three-month probationary period, based on demonstrated treatment skills, guest care, and proficiency in Umi treatments
・100% of guest tips
・Paid training in Umi treatments, the guest journey, and Japanese hospitality
・ Statutory holiday pay
・ Vacation pay
・Employment in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act
