Job Title: Host/Hostess – Full-Time & Part-Time

Location: The Boss, Banff, AB

Wage: $17 – $21/hour + Monthly Gratuities

The Boss is a lively casual fine dining restaurant in the heart of Banff, offering a menu that blends local ingredients with global inspiration. We’re known for exceptional service, a vibrant atmosphere, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for friendly, skilled, and organized individuals to join our front-of-house team as Hosts/Hostesses. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll set the tone for their dining experience by providing a warm welcome and smooth seating process. We are looking to begin filling the positions Mid to Late November, in anticipation for the holidays and new year.

What You’ll Do:

- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and waitlists using our booking system




- Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth service flow
- Keep the host stand and front entry clean, organized, and inviting
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide accurate information about our menu and venue

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous hosting or customer service experience is an asset but not required – we’ll train the right person
- Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive, guest-focused mindset

Details:

- Wage: $17 – $21/hour + monthly gratuities
- Both full-time and part-time positions available
