Famoso Pizzeria is looking for a reliable and passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing high-quality pizzas and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. You will work alongside a fast-paced team to ensure every pizza meets Famoso's quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and stretch pizza dough according to Famoso recipes and standards.
- Assemble pizzas with the correct ingredients and portions.
- Operate the pizza oven safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently.
- Prepare sauces, toppings, and other ingredients for daily service.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation throughout each shift.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Support the kitchen team with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties.
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Qualifications





- Previous experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or kitchen team member is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and food quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Safety certification is an asset.
