Our client in Ottawa is growing and are in need of an experienced Commercial Account Manager to support a growing commercial insurance department. Join a dynamic environment that values collaboration and growth.

Compensation

- Salary of $70,000 to $80,000 or more depending on experience

Responsibilities

- Serve as primary contact for coverage questions, policy changes, and service needs
- Prepare underwriting submissions, gather client information, and negotiate terms/pricing with insurers
- Review expiring coverage, re-market as needed, and ensure timely completion
- Issue certificates of insurance, binders, endorsements, and maintain compliant file notes

Qualifications

- RIBO License
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial insurance




- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Applied Epic is an asset
- Additional insurance education (CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc.) is an asset
