CHARTER BUS DRIVER

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We drive everyone and for all occasions… long-distance travel, day trips, outings, sightseeing, cultural or sports events, business, leisure, field trips, school or extracurricular activities, professional or social gatherings and more..

Charter transportation means :

- Performing routine inspections of the vehicle and keeping it clean;
- Safely driving passengers of all ages to and from destinations of all kinds, mainly within Québec;
- Drivers may leave the driver’s seat and are responsible for handling baggage;
- Trips are not routine and can vary in nature according to the season, meeting operational demand 365 days a year;
- For example, snow tubing facilities in winter, water parks in summer, sugar shacks in spring and orchards in the fall;
- Early mornings or late evenings, long and short days, big and small weeks;
- Waiting times at the destination during the passengers’ activities are usually significantly longer than time spent on the road;

Remuneration and working conditions :

Charter bus – Class 2

- Safely driving groups of all ages, mainly within Quebec
- Short and long days, short and long weeks
- Continuous paid time, garage to garage
- Fast accumulation of paid time
- Minimum wage of $22.30 per hour and $33.45 per hour for overtime
- Deduction of meal expenses for an employee in transportation
- Deduction of employment expenses (cellphone) for an employee in transportation
- Mandatory uniform provided by the employer




- Permanent full-time OR casual part-time
- Operating 365 days a year, based on customer needs

Charter coach – Class 2F

- Safely driving groups of all ages, in Canada and the United States
- Assignments of one or more day(s) (weekends, tours)
- Minimum wage of $250 per day worked
- Plus a $50 per day allowance (multiple) in Canada
- Plus a $100 per day allowance (multiple) in the United States
- Deduction of meal expenses for an employee in transportation
- Deduction of employment expenses (cellphone) for an employee in transportation
- Credit card provided by the employer
- Mandatory uniform provided by the employer
- Permanent full-time OR casual part-time
- Operating 365 days a year, based on customer needs

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS :

We encourage overtime. Tips are allowed and per diem may be added depending on type of travel.
