Job Posting: Part-Time Cosmetics / Customer Service Specialist

Pharmasave Ladysmith is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Cosmetics / Customer Service Specialist.

We are seeking an individual who possesses a genuinely positive team attitude, takes pride in their work, and consistently demonstrates excellence in Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a dual, vital role in our store, ensuring a smooth, pleasant, and beauty-focused experience for all our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Retail Cashier & Customer Service Duties:

- Processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handling cash, debit, and credit transactions, including accurate balancing of the till at the end of a shift.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-store and cosmetics area.

Cosmetics Specialist Duties:

- Providing professional, personalized, and friendly consultations to assist customers with skincare, makeup, and beauty selections.
- Sharing deep product knowledge regarding ingredients, skin types, color-matching, and cosmetic trends to build customer trust.
- Merchandising cosmetic displays, monitoring inventory levels,



and ensuring beauty testers are clean, hygienic, and well-presented.

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience in a fast-paced retail, cosmetics, or high-touch customer service environment is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—the ability to connect positively with customers and team members is essential.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and identifying customer beauty needs.
- A reliable and professional work ethic, with the flexibility to work various shifts, including some evenings and weekends.
