Charman's Home Hardware Building Centre is seeking seasonal workers to fill retail roles starting in June through to September 2025. These are ideal roles for students, and we will be flexible with the position start date depending on when student candidates have completed their semester. We are seeking energetic individuals that can help us continue to provide a friendly and helpful retail experience to our customers and community. Successful candidates must be willing to work Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Retail: completing sales, merchandising, restocking
- Some heavy lifting required. Standing for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Previous customer service or retail experience an asset
- Experience with hardware or building supplies an asset, but not required
Hours:
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Within store hours (7:30-5:00 Mon-Saturday)
