Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our energetic restaurant team, primarily for evening shifts. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests promptly and courteously, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness of workstations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries,



resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow all restaurant policies related to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards

Skills

- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
- Proven background in food service or restaurant experience within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and bill calculations
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks as needed and assist kitchen staff when required
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
- Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling opportunities

Pay: $18.25 per hour
