Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TCP/LCT (Traffic Control Person / Lane Closure Technician) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing traffic control plans, setting up lane closures, and ensuring the safety of workers and the public at various job sites. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth traffic flow and uphold safety standards across all projects.

Duties

- Set up and dismantle traffic control devices according to approved plans and safety guidelines
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around work zones to ensure safety for workers and the public
- Install, maintain, and remove lane closures, signage, cones, barriers, and flagging equipment
- Monitor work zones continuously to identify potential hazards or unsafe conditions
- Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and the public to coordinate traffic management efforts




- Complete daily reports detailing activities, incidents, and equipment used during shifts
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and industry regulations at all times

Requirements

- Prior experience in traffic control or lane closure operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and the public effectively
- Valid certification as a Traffic Control Person (TCP) or Lane Closure Technician (LCT) is highly desirable; training can be provided if necessary
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team

Work Location: In person

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
