Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Type: Part-Time (16 hours/week – 2 days per week)
Pay Rate: $35/hour

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle bookkeeping experience and be comfortable managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general accounting duties.

Responsibilities

- Prepare HST returns and WSIB remittances.
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage invoicing, project billing, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Process vendor invoices, cheque runs, EFT payments, and resolve discrepancies.
- Track purchase orders, credit card receipts, and payments.




- Review and enter payroll information into Ceridian on a biweekly basis.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle bookkeeping.
- Experience with HST, WSIB, A/R, A/P, and payroll.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Schedule: 16 hours per week (2 days/week) with flexibility based on business needs.
