Topdeck Transportation is a heavy haul and flatbed transportation company operating across Canada and the US. We're both an asset-based carrier and a freight brokerage, which means our carrier sales team works with real equipment knowledge behind them, not just a load board.

We're looking for a Carrier Sales Representative to price and move the freight that comes in the door. When a shipment inquiry lands, you'll quote it from a 3PL perspective, source the right carrier, negotiate the rate, and manage the load through delivery. This is the role the industry calls carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination — whatever the label, it's the deal-making engine of the business.

You'll work from home, based in Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.

What You'll Do

- Price inbound shipment inquiries competitively from a 3PL/brokerage perspective
- Source, vet, and negotiate with carriers to cover open deck, flatbed, and heavy haul freight
- Build and maintain a reliable carrier network across Canada and cross-border US lanes
- Book, dispatch,



and track shipments from pickup through delivery
- Resolve service issues, rate disputes, and in-transit problems as they come up
- Work within our TMS and load boards to manage quotes, loads, and carrier records

What You Need

- 2-3 years of experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or dispatch
- Working knowledge of open deck, flatbed, and heavy haul freight — dimensions, tarping, securement, permits, and what equipment fits what load
- Experience with cross-border Canada/US freight
- Comfort with TMS platforms and load boards (DAT, Loadlink, or similar)
- Solid negotiation skills and the ability to build quick rapport with carriers over the phone
- Self-directed work habits — this is a remote role and you own your desk

Compensation

- Base salary plus commission
- Details discussed during the 2nd interview

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
