Our client, a progressive tier one automotive supplier located in windsor, is looking for a manufacturing engineer. The ideal candidate will have 8 years + experience lauching current programs and working on CI projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
University Degree or College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
3 years Engineering experience in a manufacturing field with project experience in the automotive industry
Minimum 5 years experience in a tier one supplier
Trained and certified in the following: Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments, SPC, Measurement Analysis, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, APQP and GD&T;
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, conduct training and to present information in an advisory capacity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant: Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts,



fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Take a leadership role in the coordination, facilitation, development and implementation of NCR and 8D corrective actions.
Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
Collaborate with product engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effective production methods.
Work closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.
Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, and related fixtures and tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
