Position Overview

Integrated Strategic Partners is seeking a motivated Intern to join our team. This internship is open to students in their final year of university as well as recent graduates. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and critical thinker with a keen interest in public policy, government, and strategic research. As an Intern, you will work closely with partners and consultants to support high-impact client work through research, analysis, and drafting. This role offers hands-on experience across a wide range of sectors, including developers, municipalities, non-profits, post-secondary institutions, defence and education clients, qualified associations, and more. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in research, policy analysis, and strategic advisory work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct in-depth research on policy, legislation, political developments, and industry trends.

· Draft and edit briefing notes, policy summaries, and strategic documents for internal and client use.

· Monitor legislative and regulatory activity to identify emerging issues and opportunities.





· Provide analytical and administrative support to partners and consultants.

· Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and client communications.

· Conduct grant research and provide support to clients at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

· Currently completing a bachelor’s degree (final year) or recently graduated in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Economics, Business, Media Studies, or a related field

· Demonstrated interest or experience in research and writing (academic, internship, or extracurricular experience considered)

· Strong research, analytical, and writing skills

· High attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information

· Interest in government, public affairs, and legislative or business processes

· Ability to thoughtfully use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance productivity and research quality, where appropriate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
