Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and assembly, following established recipes and safety standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous food industry or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms.
- Strong basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests.
- Ability to work adaptable evening and late-night hours in a lively environment.

- Do you have a way home from work if buses are not running? ( late night 2-3am)
