Pharmocon is developing a handheld biomedical health monitor. We need a Software Engineer to build a companion desktop application that ingests raw device telemetry via USB, executes pre-defined mathematical translation algorithms, and manages local user tracking profiles.
What You Will Provide
- Desktop App: A functional desktop companion application (Python/PyQt, Tkinter, or similar preferred).
- GUI: A clean interface displaying historical data charts, hardware connection status, and numerical readouts saved to local storage.
- Algorithms: Clean, well-documented source code implementing our predefined mathematical lookup tables and dynamic correction formulas.
Core Skills Needed
- Experience building desktop utility applications that interface with external hardware via USB/Serial.
- Proficiency in Python (PyQt/Tkinter) or similar frameworks for cross-platform desktop apps.
- Ability to translate mathematical formulas and statistical outlier filtering into effective, maintainable code.
- Experience with data visualization and local storage (SQLite, JSON, or similar).
Compensation
Fixed-fee contract at $2400 USD for full delivery of the working desktop application, GUI, and documented algorithm source code
Pay: $3,368.00 per month
