Clubhouse Server (Seasonal)

Rate of Pay: $17.60 per hour + gratuities
Season: April 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026

The Port Hope Golf & Country Club winds through the historic grounds of Penryn Park on the bluffs of Lake Ontario, offering a scenic and challenging 18-hole golf course and a welcoming clubhouse dining experience. As a premier golf destination, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences for our members and guests.

We are currently seeking energetic and guest-focused Clubhouse Servers to join our team for the 2026 season.

About the Role

Clubhouse Servers are key members of our front-of-house team, responsible for delivering attentive and professional table service. This role ensures guests enjoy an outstanding dining experience, whether visiting after a round of golf, attending a special event, or dining in the clubhouse.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Table Service

- Take food and beverage orders confidently and accurately
- Demonstrate detailed menu knowledge and provide recommendations
- Upsell appetizers, beverages, desserts, and specials
- Issue bills and process payments accurately
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Deliver a genuine and memorable dining experience

Dining Room & Event Support

- Set and reset tables
- Rearrange dining areas to accommodate larger groups and special events
- Clean and reset assigned tables
- Perform daily cleaning duties
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities




- Provide shift coverage and support for Bartending and/or Host positions as needed

Skills & Abilities

- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of stamina; ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to upsell and drive additional restaurant revenue

Experience & Requirements

- Minimum of two (2) years serving experience required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Smart Serve Certificate required
- Availability for day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends (weekend availability is mandatory)
- Must be available for the full season (April 1 – October 31)
