POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Bartender’s Assistant, you play a key role in keeping the bar running smoothly and ensuring guests have a seamless experience. You’ll work closely with bartenders to keep supplies stocked, the bar area clean, and service flowing in a rapid-paced, high-volume environment.

This behind-the-scenes role is perfect for someone who is energetic, organized, and eager to learn the fundamentals of bartending while being part of a fun and supportive team. With hard work and dedication, this position is an excellent stepping stone to becoming a bartender!

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous hospitality or bar/restaurant experience is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving alcohol in your province
- A valid Serve it Right certification is required
- Availability must be open to work late nights and weekends
- Must be 18+ years of age

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES





- Support bartenders by ensuring bar areas are fully stocked and guest-ready
- Restock liquor, beer, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other supplies throughout the shift
- Keep bar and service areas clean, organized, and safe (including clearing glassware and empty bottles)
- Assist with inventory counts and product rotation during your shift as needed
- Anticipate bartender needs and help keep service smooth and efficient
- Handle deliveries and restock storage areas as required
- Collaborate with both FOH and BOH to maintain seamless service and a great guest experience.

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

- This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts range between 4–8 hours and extend into late night hours.
