We are interested in hiring an experienced drywall taper to complete quality and detailed work. We want to hear from you if you have the experience and possess a positive attitude! Jobs will be within Toronto and GTA. Additional compensation is made for jobs outside a 60km radius of our head office.
The key responsibilities of a Drywall Installer are the following:
- Follow directions provided by Journeyman or Foreman
-Drywall taping for residential and commercial applications -Install drywall as required for patches -Install metal, plastic, and vinyl beads -Sand and prepare walls for painting
Job Qualifications
Previous experience drywall taping on mid-sized residential or commercial constructions projects Own tools to perform all aspects of work
- WHIMIS and Working at Heights Training
- In - depth knowledge of construction process from material selection, techniques, and tools
- Take pride in their work
- Detail oriented
- Physically able to lift heavy tools and materials
- Effective communication skills with the ability to give and take direction from others
- Must be punctual and having own means of transportation
- Great attitude and willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
