Overview
This position is a LONG TERM POSITION.

The food counter attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This position involves interacting with customers, taking orders, and ensuring that food is prepared and served according to health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent service while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen equipment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Comply with food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.




- Provide assistance to team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Wash and Sanitize dishes

Skills

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Proficient in cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and coworkers.
- A helpful attitude towards assisting customers with their needs.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
