Clear Sky Enterprises Ltd is looking for a 2nd to 4th year Commercial Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Vanderhoof , BC.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic / Commercial Apprentice to join our team and further develop their skills in a dynamic work environment. Our goal is to invest in our people and provide opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities:

· Working on commercial transport vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

· Diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment

· Perform routine schedule / planned maintenance services, and safety inspections

· Complete preventative maintenance such as tune-ups, oil changes, tire changeovers and tire rotation, filter replacements, brakes, steering, engine diagnostics.

· Repair mechanical and electrical systems

· Complete required documentation

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

· After hour service calls as required.

· Must be able to work around truck schedules and service calls

Qualifications:

·1st year Apprentice to 4th HD Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic

· Preferred: Welding/Fabrication experience, Computer & electronics experience

· Experience with HD machine and skid steer is an asset





Experienced with log trucks and trailers is an asset

· Knowledgeable with Peterbilt, Cummins engine, Freflyt trailers is an asset.
