Primary Purpose of Position:
The Billing Coordinator is responsible for supporting billing,
invoicing, and accounts receivable functions across multiple companies within the PDI Group of Companies. Working closely with Project Managers, Operations, and the Finance team, this role ensures invoices are processed accurately and on time, payments are tracked, and financial records are maintained in an organized and efficient manner.
Job Duties
- Prepare and process customer invoices, including required supporting documentation.
- Support monthly billing activities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Review billing information and reconcile invoices for accuracy.
- Process intercompany billings and related cost allocations.
- Track and record incoming payments and deposits.
- Monitor accounts receivable information and assist with holdback tracking.
- Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to billing and payment status.
- Maintain accurate billing records, customer files, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reconciliations and reporting.
- Prepare WSIB certificates, statutory declarations, and other administrative finance documents.
- Generate reports and provide billing updates to internal stakeholders as required.
- Provide backup support to other members of the Finance team.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

- Position Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting or a related finance role.
• Construction industry experience is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Work Conditions
• Primarily office-based environment.
• Frequent computer and data entry work.
• Interaction with employees, clients, and vendors.
• Sitting, standing, and occasional walking throughout the day.
