Job Summary
Whippletree Bakery is looking for a skilled bakery assistant who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment, able to follow recipes and handle prep for sandwiches pizza while assisting the bakers.
- cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area is important, including workstations and storage areas.
- Must be able to Follow standard food safety policies
- Work well with others and able to take instruction
- Aid in inventory management using inventory sheets
- Help train new kitchen staff once proficient in role
Requirements
- Experience a must
- Food safe certificate up is to date.
- Strong food prep techniques.
- Able to follow recipes to detail.
- Familiar with food safety procedures
- Able to work well under pressure and maintain quality.
- Good communication skills and can work as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
- Physically demanding at times
