Hazelmere Golf and Tennis Club in South Surrey is seeking a skilled line cook to join our culinary team for the West coast Bistro restaurant. We are Casual with an Up-tick in Fresh, Local, and Inspiring Global Cuisine.
The position is available for full-time/part-time.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask with a sense of urgency. Organizational skills, cleanliness, and punctuality are also essential. Please note that a reliable form of transportation is necessary as there is NO BUS ROUTE available. Must be able to work in Canada with a valid social insurance number.
Qualifications:
⦁ Experience in a professional kitchen
⦁ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
⦁ Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
On-Site mentorship for career development and career advancement.
⦁ Proficiency in all cooking techniques
⦁ Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently
⦁ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
⦁ Strong communication and teamwork skills
⦁ Availability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
⦁ Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
⦁ Ability to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
⦁ Shifts usually start at either 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, or 2:00 PM and end at 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM,
or 10:30 PM including weekends.
