Overview

We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. We are a young company who focusses on quality installations while prioritising relationships with staff, clients and other trades. We provide electrical services across all aspects of the electrical trade, from small residential service work, custom home construction, commercial service and construction work, and industrial and mining service and construction work. We also specialize in residential and commercial solar system installations during the summer season.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential, commercial and/or industrial electrical service and installation work. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, in a dynamic environment that values safety, precision, and technical expertise and quality installations. Applicants should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, be willing to adjust quickly to shifting company priorities, and possess a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repair and system upgrades.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and effectively
- Perform renovation work on existing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools,



low voltage systems and fire alarm.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical upgrades or new installations in construction or renovation projects
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards or troubleshoot system failures and implement corrective actions
- Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work to maintain a safe work environment
- Be punctual and ready to work at start of each shift
- Daily work could include work order type service work, or longer duration construction project work depending on current company priorities

Skills

- Be a positive team member, willing to learn and/or mentor
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Experience working with low voltage wiring systems, fire alarm system, and electrical equipment and systems between 0 - 600 VAC, single phase and three phase, wye and delta
- Robust knowledge of construction practices related to electrical installations and renovations
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in electrical work
- Work well with other trades in coordinating the work, client satisfaction is a key business target and positive collaboration to meet project targets is a must.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting across various systems, willingness to jump in to get the job done regardless of complexity or simplicity of task is a major asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring precision and attention to detail, willingness to shift current priority to match companies evolving priorities is considered critical.

Pay: $20.00-$55.00 per hour
