Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role requires a passion for the food industry, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The Barista will be responsible for creating a positive experience for our customers and ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including giving change and processing payments.
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation stations, counters, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner.




- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary, such as assembling food items or snacks.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Skills

- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with serving beverages and food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory.
