Seeking an enthusiastic FOH member with excellent customer service skills for Yorkville Cafe and Bakery. At least one year of previous experience working in a café or restaurant setting required. Weekend availability is a must.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and answering questions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team work skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience taking orders and completing transactions using POS system
- 1 year serving experience
- 1 year Barista Experience
- Must speak, read and write fluent English
- Must be able to take direction well and complete tasks
- Available to work varying shifts, including evenings,



weekends, and holidays
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Smart Serve

Duties include:

- Packaging completed product for storage and/or selling according to Dessert Lady quality standards
- Greet each guest enthusiastically and maintain a high level of customer service
- Take Custom cake orders as well as just regular cake orders
- Take food and drink orders and enter them into POS
- Accept and package delivery orders for pick up
- Answer phone and return missed calls
- Take inventory of plastics, coffee, desserts
- Steam milk and create high quality hand-crafted drinks such as latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate etc.
- Serve customers at the counter and deliver the food to the table
- Make sure everything is clean and tidy since it is an open concept Café
