Blue Water Storage is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team for the upcoming season! This position is full time, seasonal for September and October. Blue Water Storage receives apples 7 days a week during this time period, with adaptable shifts between 8am-8pm.

Responsibilities

- Loading/unloading flatbed trucks and tractor trailers
- Moving apple bins in and out of cold storage
- Scanning bins
- Stacking bins up to 8 high
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Lifting CHEP pallets into place if needed

Needed Abilities

- Minimum 3 years experience operating a forklift (propane or electric)
- Ability to lift at least 35kg
- Mechanically inclined
- Interactive communication
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Positive approach to problem solving
- Ability to shift between tasks quickly and efficiently

Conditions of Employment

- Valid G license
- Valid forklift training certificate (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain necessary certifications
- Reliable transportation to/from work
