Job Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator for a direct hire chance with a respected construction services organization supporting industrial facilities, infrastructure, and building systems projects. This role is based in the L4K 4T4 area and is ideal for an estimator with strong electrical trade knowledge, Accubid experience, and a background in building automation, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and mechanical control wiring.

As the Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new business by preparing accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates for building systems contracts. You will work closely with internal project teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to review drawings, clarify specifications, assess risk, and deliver high-quality bid submissions under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical service cost estimates, proposals,



and bid submissions for building systems and electrical construction projects.
- Review job specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop accurate and competitive quotations.
- Complete quantity take-offs, material take-offs, and labour take-offs using Accubid software.
- Attend site and tender walkthroughs to validate drawings, identify potential interferences, and recommend proactive solutions.
- Communicate with clients through RFIs to clarify unclear specifications, scope details, and tender requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and support successful project bids.
