Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented We are seeking an experienced and motivated personnel for our Glazing Line and support production operations.

Job Responsibilities:

- - Lead and manage a crew of 4–6 glaziers/technicians

- Perform complete job layout, site organization, and install sequencing

- Coordinate daily work and drive productivity on-site

- Communicate directly with project managers and site supers

- Provide clear written and verbal updates (including skilled emails)

- Ensure all work meets specs, tolerances, and safety standards

- Ability to run a job independently with minimal oversight

- Assign tasks effectively and hold crew accountable

- Train and mentor junior glaziers

- Maintain a clean, organized, and high-efficiency job site

- Enforce safety standards and company procedures

Installation Skills

- Proven experience with jumbo / oversized glass installation
- Strong background in custom glazing systems and complex assemblies
- Full system installation experience:
- Curtainwall (stick + unitized preferred)
- Flush glaze systems
- Punch and fixed window systems
- Ability to confidently read and work from:
- Shop drawings
- Architectural drawings
- Installation manuals and specifications
- Perform accurate layout, elevations, and anchor point planning
- Identify and resolve field conflicts before they impact schedule
- Door systems installation, including:
- Hinges/pivots,



closers (concealed and surface mount), exit devices
- Safe and efficient operation of:
- Swing stages
- Boom lifts & scissor lifts
- Mini cranes
- Strong understanding of:
- Rigging techniques for glass and framing systems
- Load handling and site logistics for large/fragile materials

High-Value Asset Experience

- Servicing or installing:
- Revolving doors
- Balanced doors
- Automatic doors
- Sliding door systems

Required Certifications

- Working at Heights
- Step 4 Health & Safety
- WHMIS
- Elevated Work Platform (Boon & Scissor lift)
- Suspended Access (User & rigger
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in glazing or windows and doors manufacturing.
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
