Fletcher Mudryk LLP, a local firm of Chartered Professional Accountants, which has been serving Grande Prairie and area since 1935, has the following employment opportunity.

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

- General bookkeeping and data entry
- Initial preparation of working papers, financial statements, and tax returns
- Handling and filing confidential information as necessary
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- QuickBooks and/or Simply Accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of CaseWare and Profile a definite asset
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Excellent data entry skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Very reliable
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work overtime during tax season

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- May – October 8:30 - 4:30, closed over the lunch hour
- November – April 8:30 – 5:00, closed over the lunch hour, except in March and April
- Closed on all statutory holidays
