- Prepare and cook food items according to the restaurant's menu and recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and effective manner, maintaining quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management and food prep as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff, including the sous chef and head chef, to ensure all orders are prepared correctly.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and kitchen cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take direction and follow recipes accurately.
- Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
