Parts Person (Apprentice)

In search of a motivated, reliable and friendly person ready to begin a career in retail parts sales at our heavy duty parts store.

The successful candidate for the apprentice position will be within reasonable commuting distance to Daysland, have at least a passing knowledge of automotive mechanical components, and enjoy interacting with many people with all their varying personalities on a daily basis.

For a novice individual with little knowledge of the trade, at the beginning stages of your employment the day by day work will entail receiving and stocking incoming parts, cleaning and organizing the product in the retail store area, answering phones, and assisting the journeyman Parts People with helping customers. As your talents and knowledge develop you will be called upon more and more to act as a counter person under the supervision of the trained staff.

An individual with more experience and knowledge of the trade will be given more responsibility out of the gate, and pay will be commensurate to experience.
