Our growing client is recruiting for a key member for their controls team, an Automation Controls Designer/Integrator. As a full-scope automation integrator you will be responsible for designing, programming, integrating, and commissioning complete industrial control systems.

This role is suited for individuals with a systems integrator background who are comfortable working across PLC, HMI, drives programming, electrical controls design, industrial networking, safety systems, and on-site commissioning.

The position requires the ability to own the entire automation solution end-to-end, not just a single discipline.

The ideal candidate: has delivered complete automation systems, an work across PLC/HMI, drives, electrical design, networking, safety, and system integration, understands full system interaction, can troubleshoot across multiple disciplines, and can lead and guide less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End System Ownership: design and implement complete control systems, and own projects from concept through. commissioning

Cross-Disciplinary Execution: work across PLC, HMI, drives, electrical design, networking, and safety systems.





Commissioning & Problem Solving: lead commissioning efforts in office, and diagnose multi-variable system issues under real production conditions.

Mentorship & Leadership: support and mentor junior team members, review code and system design approaches, and delegate effectively and elevate team performance.

Customer Support: act as technical lead with clients, and communicate clearly during project execution.

Qualifications:

Your technical tool kit includes PLC programming, HMI development, drives programming, electrical design, industrial networking and safety systems.

You have a diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, 5+ years industrial automation experience and above average communication skills.
