Bear Country Property Management is looking for a Maintenance Attendant. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Ideally suited for someone with previous experience in the industry, mechanically inclined with a solid willingness to learn and leadership skills.

Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

· Performs minor repair of buildings and equipment

· Repair doors, door locks and closets, install window blinds

· Complete daily and weekly Unit inspections

· Respond to emergency maintenance requests

· Attending to guest requests

· Assist with renovations, repair drywall, touch up paint

· Pick up garbage, sweep walkways, snow removal, carpet cleans

Job Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

· Professional with strong communication and customer service skills

· Training in swimming pool and hot tub chemistry are definite assets, but not required





· Mechanical/Plumbing and/or electrical experience an asset but not required

· Valid class 5 BC driver’s license – Clear drivers record

· Strong work ethic with the ability to follow direction, work independently, and in a team environment

· Ability to work in all weather conditions and physically fit

· Appropriate outdoor wear (boots, rain pants, etc.) - Jacket with company logo will be provided
