The position at a glance

The Data Solutions Manager advances BNP Paribas’ mission to provide secure, high‑quality data and analytics that underpin regulatory reporting and strategic decision‑making across CIB Americas. By shaping and executing the bank’s analytics strategy, the role turns data into actionable insights that improve risk management, operational efficiency and revenue growth.

In detail

Develop and execute the analytics strategy, partnering with business lines throughout the year to translate raw data into insights that enhance risk oversight and operational performance.

Design and maintain data‑governance, architecture and ETL frameworks, ensuring compliance, data quality and accessibility for all stakeholders.

Create and deliver high‑impact visualisations using Power BI, Tableau and Excel, enabling senior leaders to make timely, evidence‑based decisions.

Apply advanced analytics techniques (machine learning, statistical modelling, clustering, PCA) with SQL, Python, R or SAS to generate predictive insights that drive business results.

Champion the adoption of new analytical tools and agile, “fail‑rapid” practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Collaborate with executives, risk, operations and technology teams to align analytics initiatives with the bank’s strategic priorities.

Lead and develop a regional analytics community, recruiting, mentoring and providing performance feedback to build a high‑performing, collaborative team.

Organise and host the Data & Digital Week and Hackathon, showcasing cutting‑edge data, digital and AI innovations to strengthen the team’s brand and stakeholder engagement.

Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

The knowledge of French and English is required.*

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a management role leading analytics initiatives.

Guide the development of data‑governance, architecture and ETL processes to ensure compliance and high data quality.

Create and present clear, impact‑driven visual analytics that support senior decision‑makers across the organisation.

Apply advanced analytical methods using SQL, Python, R, SAS,



Alteryx and statistical techniques to produce predictive insights.

Foster collaborative relationships with executives, risk, operations and technology teams to align analytics projects with business goals.

Inspire a culture of continuous learning by championing new tools, agile practices and rapid prototyping.

Recruit, mentor and develop analytics talent, providing coaching and performance feedback to build a supportive, high‑performing team.

Communicate complex findings clearly, both in writing and verbally, to audiences at every level of the business.

- Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Professional working proficiency in French and English language is required.
