APPRENTICE

T Bell Transport is seeking a Truck and Coach Technician Apprentice to join our team. The position is based in Timmins, ON. The Mechanic's role involves ensuring the effective operation of various equipment through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of components as needed, while performing all duties safely and efficiently.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain and repair a diverse array of equipment.

- Enhance equipment availability via effective and proactive preventive maintenance programs.

- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, oil changes, and failure analysis.

- Identify faults and malfunctions, and execute required repairs, including significant component replacements or complete overhauls.

- Adhere to all safety, health, environmental, and other company policies, procedures, and requirements.

- Ensure repaired equipment operates correctly through rigorous testing.

- Keep the workspace secure and orderly.
