Salon Manager – Blo Yorkville

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Salon Manager to lead our vibrant team at Blo Yorkville to success! In this role, you will work as a senior stylist AND makeup artist on the floor while overseeing daily salon operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving business growth through effective team management and sales strategies. Your passion for hair styling and makeup artistry, outstanding communication skills, and dedication to sanitation will help create a welcoming environment where clients feel valued and inspired. As a key leader, you will inspire your team to deliver top-tier service while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient salon space.

Responsibilities

- Work on the floor as a senior stylist and makeup artist, delivering hair and makeup services to clients.
- Abilituy to train new hires
- Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring adherence to sanitation standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of stylists and front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Build robust client relationships through personalized consultations and upselling retail products and services.
- Oversee front desk activities such as appointment bookings, check-ins, payments, and answering client inquiries with professionalism.
- Handle all administrative duties, including customer service, schedule management, and sales reporting.
- Ensure the salon maintains high standards of cleanliness, sanitation,



and safety at all times.
- Implement sales strategies to increase retail sales and service bookings while meeting business goals.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff on hair styling and makeup techniques, customer service excellence, and retail upselling.

Requirements

- Must be trained on 'Booker' Sotfware
- Proven experience as a senior stylist with strong hair styling and makeup artistry skills, and a solid understanding of current trends and techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a team in a salon or similar environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety regulations within a beauty or grooming setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to consistently meet strict sales quotas in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Experience with retail sales, front desk operations, appointment management, and sales reporting is crucial.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
