Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Service Supervisor, the Journeyman Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting and overseeing repairs on a variety of Heavy Equipment and Trucks/ Trailers.

Job Description:

- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
- Various related duties as required

Qualifications:

- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
- Dedication to safety
- Solid interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Highly computer literate, networking experience would be an asset

Note:

- This position will be a 5X2 shift based out of Fort St John
- Shift work is also available (Shift/ accommodation is negotiable)
- Hourly rate: $40.00 - $50.00 / hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fort St. John, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- mechanical: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Journeyman (preferred)
- Trade Certificate (preferred)
