Duties
- Safely operate delivery trucks
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper handling of freight to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules, adjusting plans as needed for traffic or weather conditions.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance and safety standards.
- Verify shipment accuracy by inspecting freight documentation and ensuring all items are correctly loaded and delivered.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers,
and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and safety checks in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (DL) with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to transportation.
- Ability to perform basic automotive maintenance tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Physical stamina for lifting, loading, unloading, and long periods of driving or standing.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
