We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tandoor Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for authentic food preparation and a strong background in food service. This role involves preparing traditional tandoor dishes, ensuring high-quality meal presentation, and maintaining excellent food safety standards. The Tandoor Cook will play a key part in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests while upholding the integrity of our cuisine.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic tandoor dishes with precision and consistency
- Assist in food preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients
- Operate tandoor ovens safely and efficiently to produce high-quality meals
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency across dishes




- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service timelines and quality expectations
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests when required
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices at all times

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of traditional tandoor cooking techniques and dishes is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Experience with meal preparation and kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
- Passion for authentic cuisine and commitment to high-quality food service
